7.5 update

Hi!

7.5 update comes out this month (it might be as early as tomorrow, but Friday or Monday are possible, too).
There're many bug fixes here and there, but the major feature of this update is a new special event called Airport City. Let's take a closer look.

• Build your own Game Studio to develop free-to-play games.
• Upgrade your Game Studio to the max. level to earn more coins and boost income from nearby commercial buildings.
• Acquire three new collections: Pure Chance, Handwork, and Heroes of Our Time.
• Visit cities that host famous game development studios across the globe.
• Complete the Airport City special event to get an Arcade Park.
• Arcade Park is a commercial building that produces 200 coins every 4 hours and increases max. population of your city by 20.
• Find Bugs during the event and participate in the event ratings.
• Get some additional Bugs for completing story mode with 20 side missions.
• Use Bugs to purchase buildings: VR Ride, Comic Books Store, and Game Museum.
• Also, use Bugs to purchase unique helicopter models; each of them increases income from their flights by 100%.
• Finally, use Bugs to purchase bonuses and two unique alliance badges.
• One more building, Esports Arena, is going to be available through direct purchase and will provide event collectible items for the duration of the event.

I'm afraid, it's not coming for Facebook precisely because we don't have helis there. Sorry about that.
But you can transfer your profile from Facebook to iOS, Android or Windows Store version — and keep playing there.

So, does this mean the end of the Facebook game is near ?

Going to give this event a go but not buying extra helicopters. I keep helicopters to a minimum haven’t even 3 starred them all. Best get started on supplies!

We update it with everything we possibly can. For example, all of the special events this year so far have been released on Facebook. But, as of now, our current tech and team allows us to do major updates only for the mobile and Windows PC versions.

Nice! You have to appreciate the tongue-in-cheek in this ’Airport City’ event...

I don't like the quest, we must buy planes for the side quests, when we don't have them.... Plus helicopters, which I certainly don't make, when it's not absolutely necessary 😕

Yeah, I was literally just about to report this! Hah

Wel one thing is for sure these new helicopter destenations for the event are not going to be 3starred in the first 24hours
15 destenations needing 1000flights to 3starr each totall of 15000 flights
And with all the needed items to do these the 100limit want make it any easyer
i would say start those factory's and start sending those heli's

One of the UI improvements that has been long overdue is sending several flights in succession by tapping planes of same type on the stands. It now works the same way as Flights button: if you send a flight to X, the game will remember it and suggest to send it to X again if you tap another plane of the same type.

It seems it is!
Windows Store isn't feeling good right now which is a way of saying our update is stuck in limbo until someone out there fixes it. It usually takes a few hours, and it means Windows update is coming tomorrow (or later).
