General 7.0 preparation

What preparations are you guys making for 7.0?

Personally I have 5million coins saved, going fit 6.5-7m by the time of the launch. Just so if I need to buy anything.
I'm trying to minimise the amount of f20 I'm using as my f20 gifts will go straight into the bar rather than the warehouse and I want to stockpile as much as I can. (I already am limited)

I'm also trying to not spend greenies so that I he those saved to.

What are you guys doing for preparation?

I'm preparing mentally if I don't like it and the possibility of me to leave this game behind and looking for a possible new game.

In addition to that, I want to get at least 1 lv.7 runway before 7.0 arrives (I'm currently lv.70). That's about it.

Good question.
1. Making sure i have 2 runways the highest possible.
2. Making sure there is something i can put in my game name that wont straight in the bin. Duty free, gyroscopes and altimetres are the winners at the moment.

I'm more concerned about what effects Airport City v7 may have on my 17 user guides. I have this unpleasant feeling I may need to go through all of them and re-edit, which is something I'm not looking forward to. It will take a great deal of time to bring the guides up to date, following Airport City v7.

As for my game, I do have this sinking feeling, things will not go smoothly.

I plan to open my drinks cabinet and then have a really good meal.

Also, any pages that deal with runways, prices, airport layout, plane names, sending gifts. And, of course, dealing with the 100 item limit. Yes, it will take a great deal of time.

Good question, my preparation is quite simple.

As soon as the limit was "officially" announced I made sure I spend 0 ZAR on greens, then I started my long (read short) road to the nearest drinking hole.
My AC game time was reduced by nearly 20%.

2- Spend more time in the forum
3- Do launches with friends and spend Qls and support other players.

I wonder how much interaction there will be between v6 and v7 players??? I know currently you can't visit an outdated neighbor, but can still gift and, I think, do launches.

After the last major upgrade, there were a few players who did not upgrade. Over time they were able to take 1st place in most of the destinations for very few flights.

I suspect GI may well decide to be more vigorous in making V6 obsolete this time.

Saving $$$ for runways... (however, I just inadvertently clicked and am upgrading my town hall unintentionally.)

I imagine quite a bit of work in involved. I, for one, used those guides a lot and refer to them to this day so I hope you continue the update, although unrewarded, of the guides!

I'm holding off investments as much as possible right now, as I prefer to have some cash available for when the upgrade arrives. I'm one hangar short, but I'm not buying that just yet, and have 1 lvl7 and 1 lvl5 runway, but I'm hesitant to upgrade the lvl5 to lvl7...

Why hesitate? If you have the cash. Price of R7 is more expensive in v7 and you only keep the top 2 in v6. Compromise and go for R6? Understand wanting to keep cash handy.

Hesitant because I currently have just the right amount for a lvl7-runway, but then I'm broke. Would like to start v7 with a decent amount of cash... Is it confirmed that the lvl7-equivalent in v7 is (much) more expensive?

Dont forget to add into the calculation that you cant jump runways in v7. Have to go 4, 5, 6, 7 cant just jump 4 to 7. Another reason to get the highest possible before. Save money in the long term.

I'm pleased you use the guides and find them helpful to your game. Once v7 is here, I will make a start with the re-editing. I will most likely start with @crescent moon suggestion - four main buildings guide.

I've decided to jump the lvl6 and upgrade my second runway from lvl5 to lvl7 anyways. Now it's time to save up some coins again 🤑
