Why are we bickering here about events? We are all play AC because we love the game . Events will always be a love/hate relationship - diversity with little reward is the best we can hope for. I am looking forward to Season 7 of Game of Thrones - but Dancing with Leprechauns is unlikely to warrant YouTube Trailers, thousands of speculative online posts, articles in Sunday Newspaper Supplements worldwide or invites for the development team (of Dancing with Leprechauns) on primetime TV chatshows!

I expect the opportunity for earning some extra destination stars, purchase of some fuel additive bonuses to keep my alliance pax high without too much green cash expenditure, a few bonus chests if I enter the spirit of the Event, and another building to store in my warehouse if I successfully complete the event (lets be honest here, the recent reward buildings for completing events have been frankly "pants" i.e. rubbish if not understanding English humour). Meanwhile I prefer completing spaceship launches, alliance flights, and adventure flights rather than completing events, and my allocation of resources to the event will reflect that.

But if any of you guys want to go "all out to complete the event" then why not? This game is so good because it allows us to focus on what makes us happy, irrespective of what other players do.

Speaking of cbm, GI SERIOUSLY need to do something about their expansion cost, I mean whats the point of doing all these events, get so many buildings just to store them in the warehouse?

I mean, seriously? Are high level players this little on the game to care about them this little???

A good question. Remember, there are two groups of high level players in the forum currently:
1) The Vets - These players have been playing for more than 2 years, or had enough gold tokens by the time the last CBM event happened 2 years ago.
2) The Rising Rookies - These players joined just before the last CBM sale (so didnt have enough gold tokens) or after the sale, but have played the game so well and efficiently, that they are now on par with the vets in terms of knowledge and level.

The Vets already have a CBM, so they can continue to expand and not worry about where the greenies are coming from. The Rising Rookies, on the other hand, are now at their limit in terms of expansion, because land is just too expensive for them now. How I see it, the Rising Rookies are the ones clamoring for the sale the most, as either space is getting cramped or their wallets are getting empty

it always does it.... I can see that the app store is talking about and showing the updated version. But the button to hit to install isn't there - just an option to play.... it happens eventually just, last event was later this evening, the event before that was a day after everyone else.

I dont know about windowsphone but on my windows laptop(s) it all has updated without any issiu's

I believe there is a bug in the app store when you search for airport city it does not show the update button. However, if you click into airport city in the app it then provides the update button.

There were times everyone on the forum was saying the update is available and it wasn't for me until I realized the above. Good luck!

Also did you try forcing it to find the update. Click on 3 dots top right of windows store go to
updates and downloads then click the get updates and dowloads button top right.
I have to do this quite often sometimes it works other times.........
