Well, here's a new bug for you. The update has caused my tablet to stop working completely

Seriously, it had liquid damage so it was just a matter of time. That and it feels funny to have a new update without any complaints

Now I have an excuse for a new tablet. I wonder how well a Surface can run an Android emulator

I have a Surface. I love it. I'm wondering if running Android AC on it will not create any issues.AC is so delicate.

AC folk....I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the new gifting system. I cant keep track of who sent me gifts when i accept incoming gifts. avatars with incoming gifts used to stay there in the incoming list till you remove them. Any trick or recent discoveries with regards to his issue. @greensmith @Gt city @Bali Hi @LAX @Deetee04 and others.
I apologize if i returned a gift that is not listed in your sig or even have not received anything from me yet.

I have not figured out a good system with gifting with the new updates. I generally will try and return any of the new building items or fuel20. Unfortunately I have not received a lot of gifts since the updates. If you do receive a lot of gifts you almost have to return them immediately, write down who sent the gift or take a picture of it. If not the list disappears as soon as you accept the gift and exit out of that tab.

I created an Excel spreadsheet with a list of my daily-gifting neighbors and their requested gifts. On the top I have columns for M T W T F S S (days of the week). When I get a gift I put a check mark. When I send a gift I put a slash through the check mark. If I get a gift from a neighbor not on the list I add the name to the list. I check for requested gifts once a week or daily when new buildings/quests are introduced. It works for me.

Thanks to great and patient neighbours, @greensmith , @LAX , @Rsorour , @Neil ellor ,@Deetee04 I think I would have given up since this last update. Still got some way to go but great to re connect with lost neighbours and gain more!

Hmmm, it looks like my main game LY cannot be updated anymore, Google Play shows a message saying "Your device isn't compatible with this version". I thought Free2Play said the minimum Andriod level is 4.0.3 for the new update, and my tablet is at 4.0.3. Anybody else encountered this?

Generally, yes, but some of devices are not compatible with latest Unity game engine that we use even though they are on Android 4.0.3
We can transfer all your progress to a device of your choice that game currently supports, please contact our support team for this.
This applies to anyone who can't update because their device is no longer compatible.

Initial thoughts after updating my main game (spearman78):
4. Leveling up from 60 to 61 requires 100,000 experience points, and probably the same for each additional level. I can't remember if that's standard after level 50 or not. Maybe @greensmith can chime in on that one.

It takes 50,000 experience points to level from 54 to 55. If I remember correctly, it was 40,000 to level from 53 to 54 and 20,000 to level from 49 to 50. I think there were a couple of levels that required 30,000 experience. I'm not sure which levels required the same amount of experience as the previous level.

Yes i get the same message. Device not compatible. So i cant update right now either. Extremely frustrating. My device is running android version 4.4.2

You should be able to update, you are way above the 4.0.3 requirement.

I will need to get a new device to continue my main game, don't know when that will happen .

We've all been saving collections for months, with jar of diogenes I could get about ten million xp lol, but trying not to waste fuel on level up.

Yes I have encountered this problem as well.
My ASUS tablet at Android 4.0.3 will not run the game. I had to have GI support transfer my game to my newer ASUS tablet at Andrioid 4.2.1, and the game runs on that device.

Presuming you have a second tablet at a higher Andrioid level, you should contact GI support and ask them to transfer your game, so that you do not have to start over from the beginning on the second tablet.

Regarding gifting - There is no option to delete gift so what I figured is that if you want to delete gift,then accept it and go to your gifts which you cab send.
If you want to return gift at a later time,then don't accept the gift, wait till you want to return it,then accept and send it back.

I have not updated yet. Most likely I will by Sunday after we get the Alliance rewards. The timing is not conducive right now with work meetings and such. Once I updated, I will contact everyone so I can send invites or how it is done now. Thanks for letting me know.

Is this a bug or is it supposed to work that way now? That is cumbersome. I wonder if G! is aware of it. I read a lot of complaints about it.

Yes, Now I'm in level 62 and up to 112.
