3 stars within mission deadline

I was wondering if I can 3-star current mission flights while flights will arrive after the deadline of today.

I'm not sure now if I gonna make it without that extra hours after the deadline? Normally you receive at least your items from the missions but because the flight is not visible anymore I'm not so sure about the stars..

Looks like the count when you click on the flight is including the airplanes which are in the air at that moment because after on of my planes got back I still had 42 flights while I needed 46. There are only 3 planes on their way so it looks like I'am not gonna make it after all...

Well at least I finished the guest with multiple kiosks and earned a new building to the collection. Now I go back to the earlier missions

Just to confirm, all flights counts. This if for timed quests or destinations from maps.
The stars and flight numbers shown on the planes in flight are correct from the time the plane took off, that is they are not dynamic if further planes had landed from that time.

But I was confused because I only saw 42 flights while I only had 3 planes in the air.. But in the end, maximum result
