Little bird told me that GI writes for specific devices and nor for Android Versions. Not sure if that's true... And I can't upgrade my Android 2.2.2 because I need to use LG software to do so. But this software only runs on Windows. And I only use Ubuntu and Backtrack.

Thanks Dave but as good as I know that only works for Windows computers. I do not use any Windows devices at all..

I use a LG-P990 (Spped X2 in certain parts of the world) and I am rather happy with it. Only problem I have is that I can't update my Android Version 2.2.2 as I need to do it using the LG software. But this software doesn't run on my BackTrack 5R2... Now, the latest update does not work for...
