Just before closing time Sunday I bought a propeller plane, and now I'm back with 167 PPD flights. Sure enough, we now have a full alliance, although newest member is lvl 15 or something.

This pattern is usually true for me, but the easiest task is getting harder - last week I had to do 167 PPD flights, this week it was 217. Possibly I also levelled up last week... Better keep my 4 PPDs!

I'm glad it's been sorted out! I don't expect we'll get any explanation from GI, nor any apology or compensation. I just feel sorry for those users who followed support advice to reinstall the game as new user - even if progress could be transferred, you'd still lose your friends and alliance...

Nope, not yet. My afflicted friend just got the usual crap answer from GI requesting screenshots!

Wilma reports that she can visit and send gifts to her Alliance members at least by using the Alliance task menu, which still works. I forgot to ask whether she still had credit for alliance flights done so far.

This is a recurring issue at T-2 or 3 hours, i.e. Sunday night 2-3 hours before the Alliance missions are supposed to reset according to GI themselves (T=Monday 00.00 GMT). What usually happens is that they stop counting Alliance flights already around 21.30-ish GMT on Sunday evening, rankings...
