How long did this last, and how long did you wait? When I have glitches I usually either visit a neighbor (which wouldn't work for you in this case) or refresh the page/app. Have you tried that?

About the eateries, I meant for people who play the game for multiple hours a day. But even if you visited your eateries that were bonused like mine say, 20 times a day (which would only take about 10 minutes), you'd still get 240 coins a day which would be a lot more than a lot of expensive 2x2...
