It is possible that when you updated, the your game loaded from the most recent backup to icloud. If this was before you got your hotel, it is a potential explanation.

Levelling up gives 1 greenie a pop, and there is an occasional special code. Other than that, in the absence of CBM, get your 'pocket money' out.

There was an update deployed on IOs and Android on Monday. I know Windows has been updated too (not sure if it was Monday or Tuesday). Have you checked the store to see if there is one available? It is a minor update to fix bugs.

Like others have said, I too have noticed an increase in drop rate when not connected to the internet. The downside is that you will not receive bug drops when not online.

Just had 3 further Falcon flights land, leaving Bath with 81 flights & 14 drops. 17.3%. GD still active. Not bad at all.

78 flights to Bath (Falcon), 12 drops GD active. 104 flights to Alicante (Condor), 11 drops, GD active. Edit: 15% and 10.6% drop rate respectively - not awful

In all honesty, it won't make much difference as you will need both. Having an additional runway means you can fly Hawks, which will cost more money again, and need more passengers, and more population, which needs more land. It's a personal choice really. Tip - find neighbours that have 5-6...
