Sorry, I don't understand. If you don't like the way GI run the events why do you get involved in them. Please explain so I may understand.

I think, sadly, there are a lot of very nieve players out there. If you think you can play an online game to it's full potential with out the enticement to spend money, you're mistaken.

Cards on the table, I have absolutely no problem with GI asking me for money. If I think it's worth it I'll send money, if I don't think it's worth it, guess what? I won't. I'm only playing a game after all said and done.

It's a business and businesses need to make money. If you want to finish fast then lay your money down. They always come up with some kind of incentive to finish an event early so this shouldn't be a surprise. Personally I don't think it's a bad offer but it depends how far off finishing you are.
