The Air Magnometer and Plasma Clot are used for the flights for this event. You can see the destinations, planes needed and flight items needed by clicking on the flights tab, then on the last tab (starred - event flights)

I have to disagree. The excavation flights will give you maps to fly to destinations which will give you drops for adventure buildings. As you complete the collections you will get a large bronze chest or gold chest which will give you gold and silver tokens, plus fuel and items for launches...

They are needed for flights to special event destinations.

I activate mine but usually only when I'm doing adventure flights and find I need some more land. My mint runs for 42 days. 75% restart price. But I keep all my CBMs in my city whether they're active or not so I can get more mystery bonus collections. Lots of my neighbors visit them, too.

I'm not altogether sure. Those Oil Refineries make it somewhat confusing. The chart says for level 80 I should have 130 fuel, but with level 2 Powerful Oil Refinery and level 3 Small Oil Refinery, I have 250. I think that other than spending 1000 greens for 40 more fuel, it seems that is the max,
