If you have a lot of fuel you can do as some others do and speed up just the one plane over and over but that's not how I did them when starting our as fuel was harder to come by before all this...

I think visiting windows players is very new and doesn't seem fully functional yet but probably will be soon.

I've got tons of fuel and can keep going a while, hope you don't mind I took a few firsts as it looked like people were struggling for fuel.

It probably happens when visiting certain neighbours and will stick when the next update is out.

For me the buildings will never get built as no space but the stars are what I would go for.

Just want to mention the s3 bug is now gone in this update and I can fly to giant map destinations and all other destinations that were unavailable if you only have s3 planes.
