Yeah, be careful visiting neighbors, what with the instability with the visiting function recently. I've noticed that if I try to visit a neighbor and fail - the game freezes or crashes during the "waiting" screen - you still lose your recent progress.

It's hit or miss with me. Sometimes it gets stuck and I wait and nothing happens and I have to exit the game (after which the first time I try to get back in it inevitably crashes), or it works just fine (though maybe a little slower). Whatever it is it's annoying.

It's a February miracle! flip123 's training center dropped wristbands for me tonight, which was the last item I needed to complete the running wild collection! I now can launch a shuttle! Anyone have/want to go in on a launch? I'm a bit afraid that the server glitch will screw things up though...

Nope, not missing anything. To build a training center of your own, you have to complete a launch. To launch a shuttle, you have to finish the running wild collection and get the treadmill, which you get items for by visiting training centers. GI screwed up (or maybe not, if they're trying to...
