Please, try to close your game in the proper manner: press Home button on your device and the application will get folded. After that press Home button twice and the list with launched applications will pop-up. Find the game window in the list and swipe up to close the application. To hide the panel press Home button on your device.

Then reboot your device and open the game again. In case you still experience this issue, please, contact me again. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

Playing on iOS IPAD, OS 12.**
Game was working fine this morning. No update was requested or alerted.

Just started crashing,

Game loads into the background.... try to bring it forward crashes it back to background.

Restarted iPad many times, tried launching the game, same shit. ALL other apps working fine.

Merry frickin Christmas

game is now crashing for me also, every 5-10 minutes, i lose some info but mostly keeps items
very annoying
gained a sleigh and lost but gained it on next lantern
will do a ticket but i expect they are aware
i am also almost on level 71

turned off then on and it crashed, farout

There is no iOS12 . Are you referring the 11.1 or 11.2 or 11.2.1?

I'm on 11.2 and the game is virtually unplayable if you're trying to do the event or visit neighbors. I've lost two sleighs and a skating ring because the game crashed and can't sync up. All the non event stuff is mostly OK (except flights) so I've also lost lanterns in addition to the collections. All of this just started tonight for me so I highly doubt it has anything to do with version of iOS given I've been on iOS 11.2 for a week or more now.

I'm going to try and upgrade to 11.2.1 and see if it makes a difference, but it won't.

Edit: Just confirmed it doesn't fix anything as expected

Mine is fine off-line, but if I play online as soon as I try and do anything that needs to be online (Spacelaunch, visit neighbours, collect/send gifts etc.) it crashes.

As this means I can't do any of the fun bits, I have ditched the game until its fixed. Of course, once you walk away from a game temporarily, then motivation to come back starts to diminish. I'm hoping for a quick fix, but given the time of year I think it will be some time.

My ticket to GI support didn't get a reply.

it seemed to work and then after 1 hour it crashed, i did not lose anything though

think i have had enough, but i have a sky captain in play, now i gotta do as much inside the 24 hours

I got the exact same support message as an earlier posting. It not only doesn’t fix anything it’s almost insulting that it’s the best solution they can come with.

With the holidays I’m sure this won’t be fixed until Tuesday at the earliest.

Same here i doubt we get a solution soon but was able to do half the event so far
