iOS Help needed please

I am new to the forum so hello everyone.

I can't find my friend code. I looked at a thread I saw on here on how to find it. I clicked the social button, and then the social button again (the two buttons with the people on them). Now I have 5 tabs available. Add, waiting, neighbours, profile and add friend. I looked on the profile tab and all it shows is my level, reputation, game name and skill stars. The add friend tab shows my username, invite friends (with Facebook and twitter symbols), and a place to enter a friend's username.

Also, how do you get items required for buildings when they aren't available from flights?

Since you are using an ipad, your username is your friend code.

You ask your neighbors for help, through gifting you can get some items that are not available any other way.

Thanks. How do I send specific gifts to people on this forum? I realise I need to add them as neighbours, but as an example, something you have requested is a drawing board. If I wanted to send that particular gift to you how do I do it? If we were neighbours I mean.

You can send only gifts you have in your gift list (for building items you have only 1 out of 4 required items so there is 75% chance that you don't have that specific item). If you have that item you can send it as every other gift (pick gift and send it to right person or go to neighbor list and pick a gift)
