I have and I use it after I start maps.
Yes it make the maps that running 3 times longer.
It's an immediate and one time thing.

I use it on alliance maps as they are harder to come by. Also the one that automatically does catalysts is helpful on some flights.

Alliance destination that's a good point, although I haven't got a strategy for them yet as they are so hard to come by

Jetpack is the one that automatically does catalyst.
That is the best bonus from Mystery Super Bonus.

After a while Horn of Plenty is becoming useful too.
