General How to get items from buildings in neighbouring towns

Since I can't find the answer or somebody asking this question, I am afraid the answer is going to be embarrassingly simple...

I do not know how to get items from buidlings in neighbouring towns. I need them to complete missions (http://airportcity.wikia.com/wiki/Pursuit_of_Beauty and http://airportcity.wikia.com/wiki/Solid_Calculations).

When I visit a neighboring town I can click on the different buildings and get oil, money or passengers. But I don't see how I can get the Runnings Shoes or Engineering Designs. I did find buildings with those objects in them, but can't see a way of getting them out. When I visited a town I tapped a hanger twice, once getting the oil (if I remember correctly), hoping to get the designs the second time, but no luck.

Who can help me out?

They are random drops, these items you are looking for dont drop every time. So you will need to visit and click on the respective building until the item you look for does eventually drop.
