iOS Game crashes in the midst of an action

I am playing on Ipad 2 ios 8 in the midst of performing an action the game suddenly switch off. I have to restart the game again. If I am in the processing of collecting dropping from a flight those drops are lost. It is very painful if it an item I have been accepting to complete a quest.
Is anybody experiencing!!!!!!!!
