MOTIVATION
At present it seems as if the Duty Free Shop is as useful as a paperweight on an empty desk. I've not seen constructive ideas on how to make the shop more relevant to players who don’t need always need the coins

BROAD REASONING
* To retain as many of the original GI design parameters as possible in the new design.
* To make the DFS more profitable without excessive speeding up of coin generation
* To add a unique reward that can only be obtained via the DFS - to entice higher level players to keep using it
* To add opportunities to spend greenies - i.e. give back to GI and make it generate potential income for them too.
* To redesign/renovate the contracts on offer.
THIS IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

THE SOLUTION
I've added another level to the building, reconstructed the contracts on offer, added a special item (almost like a mystery box), a new collection and a new bonus.

THE BUILDING
Level 1 - Required Level, Construction Time & Coins/Electricity/Items Required - Unchanged. Provides for 1x Level 1 contract and 3x Level 2 contracts.
Level 2 - Required Level, Construction Time & Coins/Electricity/Items Required - Unchanged. Provides for 3x Level 3 contracts.
Level 3 - Required Level, Construction Time & Coins/Electricity/Items Required - Unchanged. Provides for 3x Level 4 contracts.
Level 4 - *NEW*.
Suggested Level it become avaiable: 51 (It's roughly from this level onwards where coin generation become less important)
Suggested Price - roughly double the coins for Level 3
Suggested Electricity Requirement - minimal
Suggested Items Required to Construct - 24 (4 times 6)
Allows for 1x Level 5 contract.

THE TRADE ITEMS
All the current items remain unchanged, 2 new items are added for level 5 contracts. Each item gets a coin value assigned
Single Malt Whisk(e)y - 60 coins - same sources
Chocolate Candies - 20 coins - same sources
Pearl Earrings - 100 coins - same sources
Skin Care Products - 40 coins - same sources
Eau de Toilette - 100 coins - same sources
Make Up - 150 coins - same sources
Filled Candies - 200 coins - same sources
Cognac - 200 coins - same sources
Perfume - 300 coins - same sources
White Gold Bracelet - 400 coins - same sources
The NEW items will be
Swiss Watch - can only be obtained by cashing in a Tax Refund
Champagne - can only be obtained by cashing in a Tax Refund

THE CONTRACTS
Each contract will only require 2 items - it is to make it easier to start a contract. Comtracts with the same duration will not have the same payout.

Level 1 "Discount Contract" - 20 minutes.
Only one option
Input: 1x Single Malt Whiskey & 1x Chocolate Candies. Payout: 80 coins.
For every 10th Level 1 contract completed, the player gets a "Orange Loyalty Card" towards the Frequent Shopper Collection
Level 2 "Basic Contracts" - 1 hour.
2A - Input: 1x Single Malt Whisky & 1x Skin Care Products. Payout: 100 coins.
2B - Input: 1x Pearl Earrings & 1x Chocolate Candies. Payout 120 coins.
2C - Input: 1x Pearl Earrings & 1x Skin Care Products. Payout 140 coins.
For every 10th Level 2 contract completed, the player gets a "Green Loyalty Card" towards the Frequent Shopper Collection
Level 3 "Red Contracts" - 3 hours.
3A - Input: 1x Eau de Toilette & 1x Make Up. Payout 250 coins & Tax Refund
3B - Input: 1x Filled Candies & 1x Eau de Toilette. Payout 300 coins & Tax Refund
3C - Input: 1x Make Up & 1x Filled Candies. Payout 350 coins & Tax Refund
For every 10th Level 3 contract completed, the player gets a "Red Loyalty Card" towards the Frequent Shopper Collection
Level 4 "Blue Contract" - 9 hours
4A - Input: 1x Cognac & 1x Perfume. Payout 500 coins & Tax Refund
4B - Input: 1x Cognac & 1x White Gold Bracelet. Payout 600 coins & Tax Refund
4C - Input: 1x Perfume & 1x White Gold Bracelet. Payout 700 coins & Tax Refund
For every 10th Level 4 contract completed, the player gets a "Blue Loyalty Card" towards the Frequent Shopper Collection
Level 5 "Premium Contract". - 1 day (or maybe 23 hours)
Only one option
Input: 1x Swiss Watch & 1x Champagne. Payout 1000 coins only.
For every 10th Level 5 contract completed, the player gets a "Silver Loyalty Card" towards the Frequent Shopper Collection

The contracts on offer for contract levels 2, 3 & 4 would only change once every week, at the same time as the weekly alliance task reset.
It's a deliberate decision to slow down the progress a bit.

THE NEW COLLECTION - Frequent Shopper Collection
The collection require 1 each of a Orange, Green, Red, Blue & Silver Loyalty Card.
The collection items can not be obtained via collectable buildings - only via the Duty Free Shop
The payout from the collection is 100 coin, 100 XP, a "Golden Loyalty Card" and (for show) the "Electronic Billboard" Bonus

THE
NEW BONUS - The Electronic Billboard Bonus
The bonus can only be obtained from completing the Frequent Shopper Collection. This is to encourage use of the DFS, but also to restrict the amount of bonusses .
The bonus is active for 3 hours.

The bonus would allow the player to watch 10 (ten) additional videos each day.
The daily 5x Speed Up by 30% limit is to remain and

THE NEW SPECIAL ITEM - TAX REFUND
Can be bought from Shop (2 Greenies)
Can be bought from Duke's (1 Greenie)

Provide equal chance of either a Swiss Watch or Champagen to drop.

CURRENT LOOT BOX - UPDATE
The Tax Refund items will not be included in the Loot Box
The Loot Box price will remain unchanged. \
The cost of the Loot Box is at a premium to the individual items - I am aware of it, it is deliberate.

To summarize, a player that actively plays with the DFS should in theory generate a bonus on average very 16 days - which is less than an additional video per day.

The flexible way in which videos can be used might provide the incentive for middle to high level players to invest time and energy into operating the DFS more often.

I like that you've expanded on probably the most useless building in the game. To be honest, I would prefer if the duty free allowed you to trade in items for something other than coins. There are much better ways to generate coins, so maybe your idea of bonuses may be a great one, or better yet, pay out in greenies. Maybe have the payout range from one to 6 greenies depending on the contract. Bonuses would be cool too though, like maybe having the golden dice as a potential item. Either way, the duty free shop definitely needs work

my theory on getting greenies. banknotes, is that with time, everything must change. what with the lol cost of living these days, 3 greenies a week,(weekend bonus) is like living in the old West era, in comparison with present day times.
Maybe the bonus might help if things we might buy with it, would actually do as described in the game

And everything a vet would want is extremely expensive with greenies. Looks like we have a huge gap between salary and cost of living
