Whining

I will post a really wrong post but I will post it.

The last few month I stopped reading parts on the forum because of the constant whining and complaining. Yes, expectations were created by GI on the forum and not forfilled. That is no fun. We have bugs, sometimes a lot of bugs and big bugs. But more and more I read attacts toward GI and a lot of whining.

In the past android and IOS was max level 35 for a very long time. For over a year half of the members was 'username' so you could not see who sent a gift or to who you sent it....
Windows is new to the game and have so many features the others didn't have in the first years, but have a few bugs like all platforms.

On the forum some talk as if the forum is from GI, it is not. The forum is ours, not GI, tread it like that. Stop whining, stop attacing. If you don't want to spend money, don't! Be patient, it is just a game. If you have comments toward GI, sent them to GI, please stop complaining daily what GI does wrong. Write them and complain.

In the last few years the forum and the people on it became more social, not I need, I need and I want but what can I do for other members. Who needs quest items so they have priority, my needs will come after the quests... Luckely that didn't change, but the tone on (parts of) the forum has changed and not for the best.

If I would quit the game now, it is not because of the game, that is already boring/less interesting for a while. Waiting for new challenges.... If I would stop now it is because of the tone/changes of the forum as the forum keeps me playing.

Please do not destroy the forum, treat it with respect.

I try and concentrate on the good people I've met here and the strange/funny posts that sometimes pop up - I seem to remember this great post of shock learning @flip123 was a girl....*gasp* A GIRL?!?! Fun day sitting back and watching the back and forth!!

I remember the "username" bug. That was a challenging time to play but we made it through. I created a thread that is still pinned (new user guide to gifting) specifically geared to IOS users who were encountering that bug. The original post in the thread is now pretty much obsolete without the bug and my gifting philosophy changed since then. Building items were always a challenge though during the username bug. I ended up flying/buying to complete them.
