When do flight bonuses start? Specifically Spyglass

Apologies if this has been asked before or/and is a silly question, but when I activate spyglass, which flights does it apply to?

Those that are already landed and waiting for me to click or do the planes have to be sent out whilst spyglass is on for the bonus to count?

What I tend to do is wait till I get up in the morning, when all my flights are returned and sitting on the tarmac, activate spyglass, and then click all the planes. I’ve noticed, however, that I don’t tend to see a big increase in items dropped.

In addition to what @Teboho answered SG is still active for flights sent before it expires even if it is gone time wise it stays on the flights already sent.

But it changed earlier this year, so you may find some older posts in forum advising you to proceed as you describe. These posts are, obviously, outdated
