General What's in your MAILBOX?

I had a friend ask, can we delete Conversations? (Thanks @Alini!)
Having 20 pages myself, I looked a bit further. Are y'all like me, hoarding them All?

Geezers, I didn't know we could delete and maybe we really can't, but we can "Leave the conversation" which erases them from your sight. Over a year on the forum and unaware of the nice tools the mailbox has.

I knew I had some important tips from the friends I (ahem) bugged (nicely). Sure enough, you can sort your conversations by name and *star* those important ones to find when ready. You can also select multiple conversations and leave all those conversations at once

Took me a bit to figure all this out but I'm down to 5 pages and will attack it again. In the meantime, I'll continue to use my mailbox wiser now and remove the gift plans, launch parties, invites and such that I don't NEED and STAR those golden answers to my excessive questions.

Start on the last page, go all the way to the bottom and tap "selected conversation" then tap"select all" then "leave conversation". You may want to take a quick look and untick one you might want to keep

Duh! That's much easier, thanks, did you Vote? I trying to figure out what "your vote will be publicly visable" means.

I did. I'm the only one, by the looks. I didn't know all the details, but had a rough idea. I'm going to do a full clean out and bad luck if I lose anything. When you leave, you can elect to receive updates when the other party messages (essentially putting you back into the conversation, which is useless for big group messages) so all is not really lost.

I still have to refresh myself on real names vs forum name, game names every now & then. One day I'll do a list of them, especially the Bobs, Mikes and Daves I didn't know what happened to the leaving the conversation until Alini & I tried it out. I don't mind laughing at myself

It took me awhile to work out that if you left the convo, you'd come straight back in as soon as someone messaged again unless you ticked the correct box on the way out. A few unnamed members had a sideline launch routine going that was running outside the group threads that kept coming back up every time I left

Did know about them but don't use them.. I have no problem finding what I need so far and haven't found a reason to leave a conversation yet
