what buildings do you click when visiting neighbors?
Planetariums are good for coins and collections but don't give items for green launches.
For that reason I am preparing/collecting coins for red launches as those items are easier to come by....

You may have to take a step back and run flights to Cape Canaveral, Baikonur, North & South Observatory. These flights have the items but very seldom. Also visit Space Travel Monument, Alien Legacy and Astronaut Academy but also very seldom
You may have to give up hitting planetarium for a while

Yeah, I hit the planetariums mostly @flip123 and @Neil ellor
I also fly a lot to the Cape, Baikanur etc, but...it's quite difficult to get those items.
I thought I read somewhere that with red launches one doesn't need the spacesuit and stuff anymore?

Correct you don't need spacesuit for red launches
You could also try Golden Dice for 4 greenies 6 hours +150% but maximise your flights if you do

I actually find it easy to get items for space launches (green so far). Tap on neighbors' Training Center, Launch Pads, Mission Control Center and Research Labs.
