They say timing is everything...

One thing you should avoid is having 4 Falcons land 20 minutes after sending off 4 Condors to the wild blue. And have them sitting on the ground waiting to accumulate more pax. Whoops!

Anyone else have something they recommend as a "things to avoid" for new or even experienced pilots?

Yup - start a launch prep without checking the forum, and wonder why no body else is in "red" - find they are all in "blue" or "green" and you end up with a solo launch or waiting around like a lemon for someone to play with!

Start a map that needs say lollipops without checking the warehouse... just to find out you only have a few

Don't speed up accidentally an Eatery - the ad is often longer as the normal yield time...

Don't use Secret Faucet without Bottomless Barrel when you are opening up a bunch of F300 during a map run -- you will max out your fuel and lose all that fuel generated per minute! 😢

Avoid opening chests containing tokens if you can.... too many people have wasted these buying things they didn’t want.

Yes, but from what I recall if click too fast in succession this confirmation pop-up also becomes enabled and greenie spent.

I've since changed my ways 😁 to better avoid.

Fuel Station? One of the most important buildings in the game for the Gameplay!

Weather Station is also useful, but you don't see the effect really.

I must say I have never heard this idiom: “waiting around like a lemon”

First thing in the morning, don't complete all those planes waiting there on the tarmac. Check your daily "workaholic" mission first. If there is is a task you don't like, eg speed up 20 flights with fuel, change it. If the new task is "flights completed" all those overnight flights will count.

Oh sorry, you mean game related things not to do!

Keep a tally on how many items you have in your warehouse. Amount of chests I have missed out on because I didn't know I was close to the 100 limit. Certainly adds up!

And in particular do not do it twice in a row

Even Meteo Lab! all my baby games have one. I dont do helis on my small games, but i have a resource base or two and a meteo lab. I keep a couple of each weather item in inventory and every time a flight needs one, I don’t have to be waiting nor dependent on neighbors gifts.

Sounds like a good idea, never thought about as on my main I‘ve enough from all just from mystery boxes from Lost&Found Collection, but less on my supports...
