iOS Tasks in the Event not working in some instances

When I come back to the game after several hours of not playing I try to pick romantic pax. first because they are needed badly...then my next step is to check the tasks...one of the tasks is visit
motel 0/6 and few seconds before I just did that all six of them...that task was there before I collected from motels but it seams if you don't open the task screen before you do it...it will not give it to you...Anyone else noticed that? Maybe I am loosing it from playing too much...

It has been happening for a few events now. I believe that it is intentional by G! so that you cannot accidentally accomplish tasks and earn event currency as a result. This way every thing you do has to be intentional.

I have noticed that over the past events and that's why I always open the event window before performing any event related actions.

I visited the event task screen before collecting and still the issue popped up, for not one, but two tasks at the same time, but when I restarted the game the tasks were completed, maybe a bug and GI doesn't care about event bugs much

Yes you have to open event task when you start the game before do anything else, this is not the first time it is in many other events happen.
