I had a space mission fail yesterday due to not having enough points- help please advise.

Don't launch by yourself. Launch with other people. There are 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th .... 100th place chests for a reason.

Leverage the launch chat for people to help.

Incidentally, there is an event coming up in a few weeks that will require you to do 10 green launches. You might hold off your launches until then and make sure you have the preps.
