Is there a space launch policy when using forum neighbours? On taking top spot, just supporting, gift returning, etc.

Is there a space launch policy when using forum neighbours? On taking top spot, just supporting, gift returning, etc.
I wonder...

1. If you want 1st place, start your own launch.
2. If you join a forum neighbour's launch, assume he/she is looking for 1st place, unless he/she stated that the launch is open.
3. Never join a stranger's launch.
4. Join a QL party if you can, it is the most effective way to get coins, chests, etc.
5. QL parties are mostly open nowadays (whomever is fastest gets 1st place)
6. There are occasions however where somebody organizes an arranged QL. If you are unsure, check the forum to see if the QL initiator posts updates, or just join a few launches at the back to see if there is a pattern.

Just to add to Bali Hi's post:

#2 should be your #1 rule - You will quickly get a reputation as a bad neighbor, pirate, hijacker, etc. People will remove you from being their neighbor, stop gifting, and generally not want you around. The exception being, if you join a launch and with several hours to go the launcher has not added in points, you can take it over.

#1 - If you start a launch, put in enough points to secure 1st place or at least show you are serious about getting off the ground.

#3 - Never accept a ride from strangers - so you don't run into joining a failed launch. They are no fun.

Oh... and two more things:

1. Welcome to the forum!
2. These aren't "policies". Everyone has different thoughts (I personally don't mind if someone hijacks my space flight), but these are the general "good neighbor" consensus from discussions on the topic. Look through the past posts, they are full of information.
