if u click on space launch item and says already used, free2fly says its part of the anti cheat system

Hi, yes, it's an anticheat system. Don't tap too fast as every item is checked by the server now, and it takes a few moments.

I'm currently stuck on a launch for over 5 hours now, the dam thing can't even let me add liquid fuel.

This is a bad bug and not a feature.

I'm having this same issue. Half the time I can't contribute anything because it's checking the server then fails, and I have to try several times to get it to work

I did get a message earlier saying “maintenance in progress”.
