Some newbie questions

Hi. I’m new to this game and I hope to get some ad use from veterans:
1) how do you guys expand the territory- it’s so expensive?
2) are helicopters worth it?
3) what’s the best way to spend 20 gold and 400 silver token? Should I buy a bank branch or it’s better to spend in red aircrafts?
4) what’s the best progress strategy? Should I upgrade tower, or terminal, or build more buildings, or something else?

1) land will get more and more expensive and get to the point you can only buy it with greenies. So buy as much land as you can with coins - don't waste greenies when coins can purchase it. 3) Save the gold and silver tokens. Use them on reserve hangar upgrades and contracts for visa centers (when you get to that point). 300 silver tokens on a Grand Hotel is a wise purchase when you are stuck and need more population though.

4) Best progress strategy is one that will help you earn coins quickly. Upgrade runways first. Towers and terminals are also good. If you have problems filling planes, that means you need to build more passenger buildings. If you want to expand your terminal, a quick cheap way to do that is buy parking lots. Right now - yes and no. Getting some progress on the events gets you bonuses like Fuel additive, family ticket and other items that you can save for other things. It's an easy way to collect things you would otherwise have to pay for.

If you're trying to complete the event, then no. But the bonuses make it worthwhile participating at least to some extent

Not really. If you're out of the top 25, you get 2000 coins. You can get that from a single collection by visiting planetariums at your neighbours

Get 2 kinds of neighbours
1) those that have great cities that you want to visit and tap on their buildings
2) those that can exchange with you daily and can send what you need for building upgrades.

One tip I have is not to bother buying maps from Duke. 2000 coins is still a lot for a newer player. Better off saving those for runway upgrades etc. And the free videos to get excavation maps are more than enough to do several flights daily. But excavation missions are definitely my fave out of all of them!
