I tend to watch videos to get the missing items I need - not sure if it’s an option on all platforms

Watch videos or ask for gifts (I believe there is a thread on this forum also, otherwise put it in your game name and/or contact users you know, e.g. alliance or fuel ring)

currently unavailable, I think there must be a set number a day!

Create a signature page in your account settings showing what items you need and what you've got to gift.
You can also look at other forum member signature pages to see if they are at the same stage

Yes, there is a set limit per day - ten in total but maximum 5 to speed up planes by 30%

Are you sure these items are giftable? It was quite a long time ago, but I think they’re not...

O, you might be right, didn't think about that option. I just assumed all items needed for construction are giftable, but now that you mention it there might be some items not giftable. My bad.

I know that Impact Marking Machines can be got by visiting neighbours Flight Catering Facility and Jaw Chucks from Neighbours Cosmic Fuel Stations.

I made the exact same mistake a few days ago @marshimus Haha! I got around it by watching the free ad, but had to wait around until the next morning for the refresh. Guess it’s all a learning curve, eh?!

The drop rates on those are depressingly low. You may do better to discover the Lost City of El Dorado, and sell the gold for greenies.

That's just to say that videos are the way to go. If you are in a pinch, and need a working Resource Base today, you can build another Level 1 to keep production up. They're super cheap and fast.
