General Santa's bad mood drops, how about you

the drops for the santa's bad mood suck, so far my 3 games, I've only have completed 1 green belt collection for each game, david smith2 has 1 white collection completed and 1 snow melting facitity with no drops, and no let it snow collections

I did ok with the green belt & white collections for both games, but the silly snow globes are just NOT dropping. Tried with spyglass and without. Might get 1 or 2 a day, only have completed 1 collection on main game, 2 on 2nd game.

Very poor drops here, despite continuously flying. Im hoping theres some kind of equation involved , so as the days go by, the more drops people get - If not, then im stuffed!

So far, it looks like drops have almost stopped today. or my spyglass has broken. Finished the Green belt collections, 7/7. But the into the white collections I have 15 of the 35 total items...

Spy Captain and Spy Glass helps a lot! Of course, not 100%, but better drops then without bonuses

I've read some say they think it helps to fly to all places, not just Quebec. Any truth to it or are they just trying to get as many stars as possible? Seems Quebec is most economical for acquiring snow melting facility items.

I think drop rate of all destinations is random - and very rare. I started with Quebec, after having 6 collections from maybe 200 flights (thanks to spy glass) I changed my fleet and got 3 stars from Innsbruck and Fargo and 1 star from Reykjavík.

Last collection was much bigger problem - you can speed up planes if you have enough fuel, so advanced players can easily do hundreds of flights and complete all 7 collections during 1 spy glass session, but how to speed up the buildings? OK, you can use greenies (but it's insane ) or waste several Golden Toads... or just wait...

It depends what planes you have. my t/props and Jet easily got 3 stars, The single Delta did 50 before I finished the flying part of the quest.

Some people say spyglass helps with the drops. Didn't do much for me.
