Runway approach during taxi

1st time posting here. As planes approach runways 1st aircraft takes 1st runway holding up aircraft following. Would be better if 1st went to far runway. What do you think about this?

I know if it gets a little busy, there looks to be some collisions about to happen when they cross the first runway to the 2nd. This only is noticeable when they all are taxiing for takeoff. But if you have something landing, the taxiing aircraft will wait.
