Always glad to help just putting dual boot on laptop. Trying to get part time work as online tech support so need Windows 8.1 for software, but still have Windows 10 for AC and other games.

I try actually to load window10 but after5 hours loading I just received 27 % of the program.I will wait a day I will have nothing to do for loading window10 ....But Microsoft tell we can return to Windows 8 anytime when we have windows10 ???

yes, but it will require a full wipe of your computer and reloading the windows 8 disk depending if you have a restore point or not.

I ended up losing !KB2 for now. Still have !KB though. I tried to have two OS on same laptop but seems AC works fine in 8.1 but crashes/freezes up on Windows 10 due to display adapter error.
Maybe there is a difference in the bits? 8.1 is still a 64 bit OS but AC is 32. Even if Windows 10 is 64 bit OS, a 32 bit game should still work.
You cannot run 64 bit software on a 32 bit however.
I don't have !KB2 right now. Have to lol beg GI for restore code to game.
