Rant about Long-Awaited Mail

As a star chaser I loved seeing new destinations for this event, but getting enough Letters of Hope to keep 14 planes going has been a challenge. The drop rates from the Lost Mail disturbances are dreadful, even using bonuses. And, why do we need two per flight (except owls and thunderbirds of all planes)?

Is it just me? I'm wondering if there is a strategy I'm missing.

As long as I'm ranting: The mechanics for the "game" are...not the best. I just stopped trying. And, how are you supposed to get the Receive the Delivery Date bonus? You click on Show Me and it just points you to Madlen's airport.

agree but just in case, delivery date, you can get in the same place as getting extra passes for the game (every couple of hours and 2x obstable free in 24h) and also from mail planes... but totally agree re letters !!!

Agree. I was super excited about actually being able to play this event for the first time!
But even with FiN and bonuses for entities, I just simply cannot get enough letters. If there were gifting options, this would be much better.
And I care none about the stupid mini-game. I have 166 passes left and I just simply cannot be bothered anymore.
Trying to think on the bright side: I do what I can and get some more stars!

Have to agree that this event is a tad painful at times & due to this, I had to dig deep & resort to using a coveted bonus in an attempt to assist in attaining the Letters of Hope (LoH). To improve my chances I used A Friend In Need bonus to achieve 10 daily actions at neighbours cities as opposed to 6 actions & also purchased 6 Post Offices which give 1-2 LoH per hour-this assisted immensely.

I managed to receive the Delivery Date Bonus by visiting neighbours Post Offices, I hope some of is of benefit to you 🤷🏽‍♂️

After Friend in Need and ones own Post Offices, the only way to get enough LoH is by spending some greens in the Store for the Large Mailbag chest. This will give 20 LoH and 30 Knives; assuming a drop rate of 1:3 for Knives, a total of around 30 LoH.

It is much the same with the 2 Romantic quests; this year I spent many greens (hundreds) on the relevant bonuses for both quests and have now nearly 3-starred all destinations specific to those quests.

Sometimes greens are the only way.

glad to see it's not just me that thinks what's going off with this event all I need is the delivery date bonus to compete it and I've visited my neighbours that have 6 post offices and not got any hope it do tomorrow

What I am dissatisfied with is that there is still no game version that can be converted from Android system to computer webpage,
it is still an old version, and there is no long-awaited update for the letter activity
