If by trainers you mean "Sneakers" for the Running wild collection, it drops from the following locations

In your city - training centers

In your neighbour's cities - training Center, but also cottage, side wing, townhouse, futuristic house, mansion and manor.

My recommendation, visit your neighbours daily and tap all training centers. You will have to do this for up to a week to prepare enough preps for the event.
