Maybe dumb question. When you upgrade a building it tells you electricity required. Is that the amount it takes to upgrade or is that the new required total. I'm looking at upgrading control tower to 11 and that needs 50 electricity. Thought would mean that stupid tower needs a ton of electricity. I'm guessing near 100+ through all the upgrades?

Its the amount you need there and then. Worth planning how you will gain this capacity. Occasionally, some of the energy supplies are on sale so you need fewer coins or greens to buy . Also worth considering if you can remove some buildings from your airport which have a poor passenger or coin yield to free up some electricity capacity.

The electricity is the new required total. I'm not sure how much does your CT 11 need, but my CT 4 is currently using 14. Upgrade to CT 5 says "18 electricity". In fact, I only need to cater for 4 more electricity (i.e. the difference) as CT 5 effectively "replaces" CT 4.

That would make more sense otherwise I'd need a large percentage of my power for that one building lol. Ill have to track my electricity when I upgrade and see what happens
