Population total off???

I'm summing up all my pop from residential buildings and Commerce and my total is off by 49 passengers compare to what my pop total is at the top. Am i missing something??

Do you have an airline alliance? The alliance building in +20 population. Did you count buildings you got from collections (i.e. smart house, perfume store)? These can be checked in your warehouse to see population requirements of these.

I did, I was able to get it to off by 11 by adding the buildings from collection, but still off, hmmmmm rechecked it all again. Gosh its frustrating, not sure where I'm missing something.

Click the population icon on top left corner of screen, and it should pop up a list of all the buildings that add up.

Don't know if this your problem, but the game is notorious for it's bizarre math.
