Green Launch My First Launch on this Forum

Hi Alll
I know I've not done this right and you are going to tell me how I should have done it but....

I have started a Launch. Can contribute about 1000 points to it. Anyone want to join me? Started with 214 points. Don't want to use my powerful explosive bolt until I know I can finish.

Saw the thing about the green. blue, red launches etc Selected the green prefix on the assumption that I am a started and this is the first one I have done,.but really cant work out what the coloured launches mean. Sorry. Am open to any advice or guidance.

Hi - looks to me like you are spot on. The colours relate to the different colour launch pads - green is first, then blue then red. Each colour needs a higher number of points to launch - when you visit you will see the three pads together on the higher level airports. The QL prefix is when someone uses a Quantum Leap bonus on a launch - these speed the launch up a lot, the faster it gets the more QL's are in. So you are spot on. I can't join at the moment as I am in a red launch, but if you are still open when I land will pop in - although I am about out of stuff to add having just done 2 reds in a row (they need 3000 to launch, so 1500 to guarantee first place!).

Hi - my red launch went and with 2 QL's in came back already so I AM IN. Will be able to put 168 in for now, then add little bits later if you are still going, but hopefully some of the gang will come on in as well - they all seem to be asleep late this morning - only the English up and about.

It's a learning curve, no need to apologise and welcome to the space race - it took me a long time to work out how to open a can of beans once, but that's another story for another time
