Maybe it has to do with me being a non-believer, but that She-Devil doesn't affect me. I never seem to click on them.
Just once while collecting coins. Clicking the second to last coin in the city it popped up saying I needed to use a Golden Toad. Because the button wasn't green (had one in inventory) I clicked. It was more autopilot than anything else, I guess. So I cursed very briefly and collected another round of coins.

If you didn't have the poisoned toad, that click would have cost you 8 greenies!
