My predictions:Level 120+,New destinations,New plane sets, New buildings in the store,New collections and new buildings in collection.In general, new goals
My wish: Mission to Mars
If I get at least half of these correct, I ll toast a drink to myself

I agree. We will have more changes fed to us, but probably not this week - I do not believe level 8 will arrive until the latter part of July at the earliest. I suspect we will get a teaser each week. Anyone out there going to confess to being an Alpha or Beta tester for GI?

Im not sure why I was more optimistic (I was thinking mid to late next week), but given the track record, Im going to have to agree with you...thanks for the reality check. Also, I have a feeling that beta testers wouldve announced it in the forum by now like they did in 7.0. But coming to think of it, the beta test got released by accident for 7.0, so maybe its out there. I still dont see how they would force players to keep it a secret though

For 8.0, I am expecting 2 things:
1)Hangar overhaul. This was discussed months ago, and the hangars have been combined. There is more to this story...I'm sure of it
2)Bonus structure. We were all overjoyed with the changes in bonus structure in the early days of 7.0, but I remember that the stackability was a temporary situation. I believe the bonus structure will also go through an overhaul. Whether it's better or worse, that I dont know.

These are the things I dont expect much changes on:
1) 100 item limit - Its not budging...dont have hopes for it.
2) Helis - We can't stand the process, but the fact that they are so different from airplanes tells me that they wont change...or at least very much
3) Mars Mission - This would be great, but for some reason Im not convinced its a priority for GI. Hope Im wrong
4) New Levels - This will happen if and only if we get new planes, with new collections and new maps. Otherwise, I see no point to this, as you would simply max out again in a couple of months.
5)Warehouse Selling - Not enough of a big deal for GI to address. I think it would be great, but I think it will get overlooked
6)Cosmic Fuel Station - This pairs well with the other common launch items that are capped by the 100 item limit but they constantly go to waste. It's a needed fix, but I dont think it's big enough priority for GI either.

I'm hoping 8.0 is not all bark with no bite (aesthetics with no significant change to gameplay), but let's see what they got in store. 7.0 was a great update, 100 item limit and all, so lets see if they can step it up with 8.0

There is nothing quite like watching a gob-smackingly visual beauty of a game. These mobile games display graphics like we used to get back in the days of Windows 95. However, give me a challenging and stimulating game to play any day over a visually gorgeous game with rubbish gameplay. So forget the aesthetics, lets get levels up to 120, mission to mars, and an upgradable warehouse.

Oh.

Not forgetting the Casino, Bank, and mint .....

I’m with you on this. Based on the small snippets we’ve had, I think the update will be quite soon. But I think it will be quite a small major update.
The beta version is still available on the google store - i’m downloading now to see, but I suspect they haven’t used it for this major version, hence my earlier small major update comment.
I’d be surprised if they let the cat out of the bag on Facebook without being really close to a release - bad press otherwise.

I’m only expecting the hangar changes if I’m honest.
I’m hoping for another space mission after the snippet on Facebook, but doubtful. As AJ has pointed out, Ivan first mentioned that in 2015. It would be nice to see cosmic fuel station changes as a part of that.

Aesthetics is fine for a minor update, but if you're going to change from 7. to 8., you better come with more than just graphics. Otherwise, they can just go to 7.21. When they went to 7.0, the game felt rejuvenated. Playing style was different, and the entire interface of the user with the airport was different. The gameplay is the bite of the upgrade...the aesthetics is the bark...you gotta have that bite that will grip onto you and not let go.

Even if we just got the two that you mentioned, I'd be quite pleased. If they introduced new planes that were more fuel efficient, I would probably lose it. Would love to see B777, B787, and A350 variants make it in the game....making them long haul but fuel efficient planes. However, I dont see anything going past the condor in that regard, simply because of the hefty pax and fuel cost. It's already an "expert plane" in my eyes (giants and above are what I consider expert planes, as they each have drawbacks that you have to work around)

@Barkmi4 (Mike) also in regards to the hangar, I specifiy remembered mention of "plane customization". It was never further elaborated, but it was mentioned in the same post when we first learned about changes to the hangar.

The plane customisation is a good bet. Cannot see the point of being able to zoom inside the hanger, unless it is to make it easier to customise a plane.
