I'm pretty new to forums so I need help to understand...

How do I send out requests for items I need and find what my neighbors need so I can send those items? Just guessing what they need by looking at their airport seems a lot of effort and a waste of gifting efforts.

Just sending out items I need in hope to get them back seems kind of "cross your fingers & hope" type of gifting.

I cannot seem to find most of my neighbors signature page to find the things they need. I try to search by their airport name but cannot find them. Please show me the way...

Also, once my spacecraft leaves the pad, how do I change the posting to show that it has launched?

1st thing. Your signature shows what you need - in this case, a landing lamp is your number 1 priority. Finding others that post in the daily gifting forums is easy. Look in the forums for the Android and IOS Gifting Forum. Each day there is a new one. As people update their information and post in there, you have their most current needs.
Another way to find them is to do a search for posts by member. Enter their username there and it will bring up their most recent posts.
As for the update of your launch status. At the top of the window is a spot called "Thread Tools". In there, you can edit the title to say "launched".

Now, as you are on my friend's list, I'll shoot you a landing lamp momentarily. My most recent needs are below in my signature.

The easiest way - especially if you have cross-platform neighbors, is to "follow" your neighbor. If you only have a username, then google is your friend.

type in username(whatever your neighbors username is) site:airportcitygame.com

for example: blue cessna site:airportcitygame.com

From there you can find info on your neighbor on this forum. Then just click that neighbors forum name, and click follow. I'm probably not explaining real well - but then at gifting time, click on "people you follow", click on which ever neighbor you want, click profile, and then information.

But - you will also find that a good many people have included their wishes in their username, which is frequently helpful.

Thank you Dale for your help. I'll try the suggestions you mention and send you via priority ship, earplugs... Ummm, what is your airport name? I have three that might be you... Dale_tem, Dmc3rd and Dale Support. I'm going to guess Dale_tem as that is the only one with 70 stars... earplugs sent.

From my perspective, go ahead and collect E-readers, Blankets, Beds, Lollypops, etc. Bank them up as you WILL be glad to have them ready to use when you get your Falcon Thunderbird, Business Jet. Since the factories can only support one flight per day, (unless upgraded with greenies), it would be good to have many blankets, beds, lolly-pops and E-readers in stock in case you send out more than one flight a day. I have not purchased a Falcon or Thunderbird yet but have built the factories to produce and "bank-up" items I will need and I also collect gift items for them too.

Thank you again. Is there a way to seek out signature pages of my neighbor list? Just hoping to find them on a forum seems a bit of effort. What if they don't post on forums? I have just begun posting myself.

I have friends not on the forum and just send them fuel occasionally since I have no idea what they need. It's their loss not being on the forum, I've made better friends here that help me on a daily basis. And thankfully alot have android where they can add their wants in game name as I do, it's currently Mia/Deicer,NavMod.

I agree that its too hard to chase everyone around! I appreciate the android, iOS trading forum but wish everyone would just post once there, instead of the constant chatter. Best other answer I've seen here is to follow your friends.
