General Is it possible to "swap" planes between hangar and reserve hangar?

I bought my first two jets and one of them is broken now. Unfortunately, my repair dock still lacks one power supply to upgrade it, so I cannot repair the jet. I still have an older plane in my reserve hangar and I would like to swap the two so that the damaged jet waits in the reserve hangar until I got the one missing power supply.
I tried it both ways, first the old plane out of the reserve hangar and also first the jet out of the active hangar but neither worked. Do I miss something or is it simply not possible?

Unfortunately you cannot put broken plane in reserve hangar. Broken planes can be only discard or repair. Use the jet you can fly and fly it to the first destination for jets (first destination have item needed for repair hangar - second option is to check signatures of your neighbors from forum and see if anyone can send you the needed item). There is a thing that for first destinations on list available for specific plane type that flying there your plane cannot break.

Thanks! That is great to know. I hope someone will have the power supply so that I can repair my nice, new jet. Until then I'll stick to the first destination.
