How To Collect The Different Types of Destination Flight Maps During Long Term Game Play (v8.33.8)

I have written the user guide to give you a brief overview of the different types of destination flight maps available, and an insight into how to collect them, during long term game play. The user guide is intended for those of you who have been playing your game for a period of time, and have reached a good level of game play, and are planning on undertaking map flights. If you are new to the members forum, and have only just started playing your game, the guide will still be useful to read through. It will give you a valuable insight into the different types of destination flight maps that will become available, during long term game play.

These maps will become available as you progress through your game, and will be based on your game level status, your star skills level status and the types of buildings you will need, on the city side and airport side of your game, to unlock these maps. Your fleet of planes and your game resources e.g. fuel, passengers and flight items will also come into play. As will your ability to replenish your resources when they are depleted.

In this user guide you will find the following four sections, the first will deal with Maps Collected Through The Alliance Groups, the second will deal with Maps Collected Through The Space Program, the third will deal with Maps Purchased Through The Airship Store and the fourth will deal with Maps Purchased Through The Game Store.

SECTION ONE: MAPS COLLECTED THROUGH THE ALLIANCE GROUPS
These types of maps, known as purple maps, can only be collected by being part of an alliance group. The maps will form part of the two reward chests, which groups will receive, for finishing in the Top 100 Ratings Alliance Group Table.

The ratings alliance group table placement will determine the number of maps, and other rewards, alliance groups will receive. The higher up the table alliance groups finish, the greater the rewards will be for the alliance groups and its members. You will be able to access the ratings alliance group table by first selecting the 5th icon of 8 icons, Two People, along the bottom row of your game screen. Then select the second icon of four icons, Winners Podium, from the pop up menu, then select the Golden Wingnut along the top row of the menu, to view the top 100 ratings alliance group table. The table will give you a good understanding as to what will be needed for an alliance group to finish in the top 100.

For more information you will need to read through the following user guides, which will provide you with all the information you need to know, The Alliance Map Flight Destinations and The Plane Types Required To Undertake Them -https://www.airportcitygame.com/threads/the-alliance-map-flight-destinations-and-the-plane-types-required-to-undertake-them-v7-15-45.18632/ and The Airport City Alliance Groups - How To Create, How To Join And Alliance Group Statistical Data Explained, www.airportcitygame.com/threads/how-to-create-an-alliance-group-how-to-join-an-alliance-group-and-alliance-group-statistial-data-v8-18-31.19174/

SECTION TWO: MAPS COLLECTED THROUGH THE SPACE PROGRAM
These types of maps can only be collected through the space program. You will need to invest your resources to secure first place seat position, on one of the following three flights, Apogee Mission (green rocket launch flights), Prometheus Mission (blue rocket launch flights) and Lunar Mission (red shuttle launch flights) to collect these types of maps. You will only be able to randomly collect one map per colour flight.

Each of the three space vehicles, will have there own unique map chests, which will form part of the two rewards chests, for being in first place, Green Launch (Interstellar Chest - Novosibirsk, Bangalore, Edmonton, Perth, Berke), Blue Launch (The Stars My Destination Chest - Nagoya, Miami, Alexandria, Puerto Rica, Sacramento) and Red Launch - (Edge of Tomorrow Chest - Vienna, Glasgow, Beverly Hills, Zagreb, Potsdam). The remainder of the seat positions, 2nd, 3rd, 4th place etc. will have just one reward chest each.

For more detailed information you will need to read through the following user guide, The Airport City Space Program - How To Undertake Apogee, Prometheus And Lunar Space Mission Launch Flights, which will provide you with all the information you need to know about the space program www.airportcitygame.com/threads/the-airport-city-space-program-how-to-undertake-apogee-prometheus-and-lunar-mission-launch-flights-v7-18-18.20076/

SECTION THREE: MAPS PURCHASED THROUGH THE AIRSHIP STORE
These types of maps, known as adventure maps, can only be purchased through the airship store, which appears twice a week, on Monday's and Thursday's. The airship will remain on the screen for 24 hours, during which time, you will be able to make your purchase.

To open the airship store menu you will need to select the round blue and red airship icon (located on the left hand side of your game screen). When selected, the menu will appear on your game screen. Along the top row of the menu, there will be five icons, Adventure (1st icon), Resources (2nd icon), Bonuses (3rd icon), Space (4th icon) and Resources (5th icon).

You will need to select the Adventure (1st icon) to access all of the items for sale. There will be two types of items, single maps and map sets. The amount you will need to spend will depend on the following options, Excavation Map - this will cost you 2,000 coins to purchase one single map of your choice, Excavation Map Set - this will cost you 5 green notes to purchase a set containing 20 items required for flights and Excavation Map Set - this will cost you 12 green notes to purchase a set containing 3 random maps.

For more detailed information you will need to read through the following user guide, The Excavation Maps And Adventure Maps And The Plane Types Required To Undertake Flight Destinations, www.airportcitygame.com/threads/the-excavation-and-adventure-maps-and-the-plane-types-required-to-undertake-flights-destinations-v7-20-17.21310/

SECTION FOUR: MAPS PURCHASED THROUGH THE GAME STORE
These types of maps, known as excavation maps, can be purchased from the game store. To access the game store menu, you will need to select the 2nd icon (silver shopping trolley) of 8 icons, along the bottom row of your game screen. You will then need to select the 8th icon (resources) of 9 icons, along the top row of the menu.

You will need to scroll down towards the bottom of the resources menu, where you will find 16 excavation map sets - North America, Ancient China, Ancient India, Ancient Africa, Mesopotamia, New World, Western Europe, Oceania, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Southern Europe, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, The Ancient World, Stonehenge and Mesoamerica. Sometime has passed since I last looked at this user guide, I have today updated the user guide and have added more detail, to all four sections. I have also re-written a number of the paragraphs. Also, a general tidy up of the format.
