General How do private launches work?

When you start your launch there is a box with the option "private launch" to check.
You leave it blank if you have some participants to join and when they all on board you check that box and none can join your launch. Notice that there is an about 20-30 seconds delay after you check the box. In that time i think that everyone can join you.
