Helicopter Helicopter item drop rate

The level 2 crossbill helicopter is much more expensive and longer to maintain and to fly. Does it gives higher event item drop rate?
I can built only 4 heli pads, would it be more efficient to have 4 level 1 heli pads instead of a combination of level 1 and level 2 level pads?

I have 3 sparrows, 2 crossbills, and 2 goldlfinches on my Crsnt1 game. I didn't notice any real difference in drops. It took me 370 flights to finally finish the "Pure Chance" collection 3 times. However, the last item collected came from a goldfinch. I may never fly another helicopter for as long as I continue to play the game!
