Gifting

Okay, I understand that new members to the forum are a bit confused about how to properly gift. But, when I see that you have been on the forum for several months and you are STILL sending me what is on your name, and not what is on my name.... well, it's frustrating. Especially when you do it EVERY day. I can understand the occasional "oops" factor, or the hyperactive double click. But please, read some of the guides on gifting. It's not that difficult. Stop sending me what you want and I already have 100 of. It's a wasted gift on me, and I WILL NOT gift you back. When in doubt, send Fuel 20 - everyone likes Fuel 20. And if I don't have "Event" on my name don't assume that I need Event items. I don't always need event items.

Agreed! I have a feeling I need to apply the hatchet. Especially frustrating when it is forum neighbors who should know better.

Sometimes, it is unintentional. I have been messing up @Happy Helen several times over the last week. I know she wants earplugs. Somehow I was sending her ereaders instead. I do check signatures - and I'm not even flying destinations that need ereaders yet so it wasn't for my benefit.

For me it has been the abbreviations that are a problem. I have gifted at least 1 person a Flight Helmet instead of a Fuel Hose (Sorry! ). I had to find the thread about the abbreviations, which you cannot find by searching for "abbreviations" on the forum. Maybe that could become part of the wiki?

I share your feelings. i do suffer from the same problem, even from my same alliance group. There are some people who doesnt gift back, some people gift me back what ever they want. It really gets on my nerves when someone gift me Flight Catering.

All others are welcome..I have many slots... I stopped sending gifts to anyone who doesn't gift back or gift wrong regularly.

I have sent an FR. I am at a much lower level than you, but I can send earplugs! If you ask for something I can't send, I return F20 instead OK?
