This question has probably been asked before, but, in between competing in events and flying alliance flights, when are you supposed to get the time to fly to the destinations (maps received from space flights)? And when are you supposed to use them?, do they relate to certain events being on? I have searched the wiki but can't seem to find the information I'm looking for. I currently have 22 maps.

Good question. I found that one I had 3 starred many flights, thats when the map flights came in. I have 3 starred all standard destinations, and often the alliance flights are 3 starred (there is always 1 destination you never seem to get) and having done each event a couple of times, I may be don't need to take part in them all. This is when I do the others. I have finished all the space flights, and a currently working through the excavation ones. This is a long haul game not a quick one! - patience I am afraid.

Thanks Ralphy, yes I figured out a wee while ago this is not a quick game :)

It's not the first time I've played the game, I have had many attempts before, but usually gave up because patience is not one of my strengths, in saying that though, I'm going to keep going this time.
Patience is definitely the answer - figure out what you long term aim is. I want to 3 star everything, and I want one of each building thats available. I think when I only have alliance maps left to 3 star I will give up as the special planes are a bit pointless when you have no destinations left! But I have some excavation building and some alliance mission buildings still to go that will keep me going for some while!

Yes, to be honest, that's the problem, I have no idea what my long-term aim is. I'm just playing a computer game, trying to make enough money to buy stuff (buildings, planes, runways) with. I've never been at level 49 before, I've got no idea about game strategy, or what it is I'm supposed to be doing. I keep being told in events that in order to get a specific item I need to have a specific plane, which I haven't got and can't afford to buy.

I was like that, and trying to do too many things at once, and you have to pause and think what you like most about the game - then major on that. Is it building the city, is it 3 starring flights, is it space missions, is it completing events - once you know what you like best, you will automatically be nearer a strategy! - good luck.
