Flight Drop Bonuses active when?

When do drops get figured? At send off or when plane clicked on after landing?
what I am asking is
If spy glass active when plane sent, but not when rewards collected - are possible drops still affected by that bonus 150%?
And on the flip side.... if plane sent while no bonus active, but bonus started later and active when rewards collected - does that bonus affect the drops received?

landing, so don't activate bonus until you're about to tap on the planes to avoid wasting it.

Thanks. So I was fine sending after bonus expired... and then starting bonus first thing next morning before checking all returned flights.
