1st place gets Gold.
2nd 3rd Get Silver
4 & 5 Bronze.
6 & 7 Green
8 + Black.

It’s probably better to jump onto others launches for now then.
It is generally expected that the person who starts a launch with captain the launch (take first). Generally you would provide half of the fuel for this. Forum members work on launch etiquette, search the term and have a read around.
