Fall Fair guide

So I decided to see what the Fall Fair was all about.

The Fall Fair appears next to the lower left corner of the city side of your game as a fun fair/carnival with a hot air balloon. The balloon has an arrival animation similar to Duke Crooker's Airship Store.

You receive 40 greens upon purchase ($£€20).

For the next 30 days (separate counter on the right hand side of the screen) 5 more greens are available every 24 hours, making it a total of 190 greens in theory.

40+ (30 x 5) = 190

There is an icon with pictured greens when they are ready to collect at the Fall Fair itself.

When tapping the Fall Fair you see a timer when your next set of greens is due. Actually pretty similar to every building in the game.

When collecting the 5 greens you also receive a blue, white and red striped Fair Set chest in your warehouse, containing one item each (fuel, pax or bonus).

Fair Set chests can yield:

• Passengers 10
• Passengers 50
• Passengers 150
• Fuel Catalyst
• Fuel 3
• Fuel 20
• Fuel 50
• Vintage Weathervane
• Alarm Clock
• Golden Toad
• Sky Captain
• Powerful Explosive Bolt

Try to visit daily, preferably around the same time. With every tap a new 24 hour clock starts.
e.g. When you collect your five greens every day an hour later than the previous day, you will miss out on a set of greens eventually when the 30 days are over...

Funny thing!

Normally I would harvest my greens late in the evening. Today my counter skipped 6 hours!

From what I see you will only miss a set if you lose an entire 24 hour period during the active period.
I forgot it one day as it was not during an optimal time when I decided to grab it. Looking at the 2 clocks
now shows I will be fine and not lose a set. Assuming I collect in the evenings everyday which should
work out fine for me.

I noticed the clock for collecting adjusted on mine as well. Perhaps GI coded this in to
ensure you have an entire day to collect the final set. Would make it less likely to lose a set
and head off the inevitable complaints if many missed a set.

Anyone got something else than Passengers, fuel 3 or fuel cats?
Best I have got is P50 and 2 fuel cats.

Got a P150 as best, rest of em have been F3 and P10 so not exactly exciting so far

From what I see here on forum drop rate is the same as from space chest - 1/20+ for PEB Looks like I didn't miss much with fair

After 8 days of Fair Sets I still can't send one jumbo in the air with them, not even mentioning a possible bonus...

For now the price of my new pair of boots exceeds the gifts in return. Saint Nick better be packing some serious stuff!

Total rubbish. Any chance they'd be better if a bonus was running when you opened them? Maybe save a few chests up and open all at once?

Possibly saving them all up and opening them when the fair ends might seem like you get better odds - using the same strategy with launch ready chests seems to help (but probably just a placebo effect).

Essentially 7 fuel cats, 180 pax and 207 units of fuel. Glad I clicked every day. NOT.

I have 2 more chests to collect, however after my quick start getting 2 bonuses I have like the rest
gotten nothing of interest. Lesson learned won't fall for one of these offers again.
